A New Beginning

We thought it would be simple…

We wanted to share an update with you about our move and plans. When we first announced our relocation, we hoped to have everything up and running in just a couple of months. However, we’ve run into some significant challenges at our new location in Butte County.

The constraints have been more complex than anticipated. After long thoughtful review, we’ve realized that operating a distillery on this property at this time isn’t practical. We’re disappointed too.  However, we have not completely given up on it happening in the future.

That said, we’re not going anywhere. We’re embracing this shift by pivoting Rapscallion Spirits Co. as an artisanal handcrafted shop.

This aligns beautifully with broader trends as many are choosing to drink less alcohol overall, focusing instead on mindful, creative, and hands-on experiences. We’re thrilled to work to meet this evolving demand by offering a curated selection of unique handcrafted goods, thoughtful gift items, and treasures.

Even better, we may even someday decide to host engaging classes/workshops that share some of our eclectic skills. anything is possible from woodworking, herbal crafting, farm steading techniques, creative handwork, preservation methods, and all the varied hands-on practices we’ve honed over the years. This could be a perfect way to connect, learn, and create together in our new space.

We’re keeping the heart and soul of our brand alive while we continue to explore future possibilities. If you know us, you know our inventiveness never ends! Thank you for your incredible support and patience during this transition. We’re truly grateful to be part of the Butte County community and can’t wait to welcome you to our new rustic, homespun, crafty, authentic shop.

We’ll keep you updated as things evolve. Who knows what the future holds? For now, we’re eager to continue creating and sharing handcrafted goodness with you.

Stop by soon and say hello!

Cheers to pour decisions,

Rapscallion Hooligans
